We Want to See Your Glory, Lord!
Joshua 6:10, “Now Joshua had commanded the rest of the people, “Do not shout! Remain silent! Don’t make a sound until the moment I command you to shout. Then lift up a shout with all your might!”
Nevada House of Prayer in partnership with Reno House of Prayer will fast all sound equipment, microphones, iPads, webcasting, guitars and keyboards for 21 days beginning July 16th.

Frame a bit of who and why we’re here. 
As we look at NVHOPCC & NVHOPReno through God’s appointed times and seasons, we have experienced a Passover and Pentecost that have been extraordinary. We indeed “crossed-over.” If we look in the book of Joshua when the Jewish people crossed over the Jordan, it wasn’t long before they
faced Jericho. It was their time to possess their inheritance. And it is our time too! But not without a fight and a God-designed strategy.

First conquest in the Promised Land: Jericho. The walls of Jericho had to come down. Jericho can represent the strongholds of the natural mind and every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of the true God (2 Cor. 10:5). The walls can represent the “inner walls” and arguments against anything new. God gave Joshua an unorthodox military strategy to demonstrate His power to discourage all forms of self reliance and bring all the Glory to Himself.  He removed all sound & instruments as they marched around the walls of Jericho (Joshua 6:10). It was a test of their reliance on God, and God alone. Joshua and his army could not lean on their own understanding. This was God’s design. 

Not just a House of Prayer but we are an Apostolic Center - no secret. 
We are the ecclesia, establishing His Kingdom & Government on earth as it is in Heaven through our prayers, decrees and declarations. We are committed to serve others in our community who need prayer, hope, and spiritual fathers and mothers. We are a family. We come alongside those who are broken-hearted and speak life and destiny into them. We equip, train and prepare the Bride to be kings, priests and warriors in the end time Army through our Gatherings, Conferences and Worship and Prayer sets.

We are part of the apostolic reformation - restoring the 5-fold ministry to the Church. Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist. This is the biblical foundation of the church.

We celebrate God’s Appointed Times: Passover, Pentecost, Feast of Tabernacles, and Firstfruits. We are pioneering “One New Man” in this region - Jew & Gentile (Eph. 2:11-14). This is our heritage in Yeshua and our Inheritance! This also is a part of the Apostolic Reformation. What satan tried to steal from from the Church through Constantine, God is restoring.

In other words, we are different!

When we established this Altar, we became a threat to the territorial powers and principalities. That is why the battle has been so formidable. We are a target. But GOD! We made it across the Jordan! Now, here we are standing in the Promised Land and we are claiming the endless spiritual blessings God has for us, our families, city, state and Nation! God has prepared each one of us for such a time as this to TAKE BACK THE LAND! All the spoils are ours!

Biblically, and all throughout history, when an Altar was built, restoration and transformation began in the community/region where it was built. It brought revival and healing to the people and land. Iniquitous thrones/altars were dethroned.

This was and still is our original vision and mission for the NVHOPCC. And it’s our target - to bring restoration and transformation to our families, neighborhoods, city, state and nation! The Harvest is here and it is RIPE!

Back to Jericho!

As I sought the Lord regarding taking “Jericho” and what that means to us personally and corporately, He said, “No sound. (Meaning no sound equipment). Remove all sound equipment, microphones, iPads, webcasting, guitars and keyboards for a time.” This was a pretty bold statement by God so I waited for a confirmation, then He showed me Joshua 6:10, “Now Joshua had commanded the rest of the people, “Do not shout! Remain silent! Don’t make a sound until the moment I command you to shout. Then lift up a shout with all your might!”

Confirmation!

I felt an urgency on this assignment from the Lord so I presented this directive to the Executive Board as well as Jason and Joanne, NVHOP-RENO and there was unanimous agreement that this was the strategy God was leading us into to take down the “walls of Jericho” - personally and corporately as a team. This will ensure our victory as we face other giants and possess the land God has given us. (See notes on Giants and what they represent at end of this outline).

The “21 Days” is designed to:

• Refresh our souls & heal our land (hearts, bloodline & team).
• A time of new revelation from the Throne Room - personally & corporately;
• Receive fresh vision for NVHOPCC & NVHOPRENO, Henderson and Vegas.
• Break down any “inner walls” and arguments against learning anything new and any strongholds of the natural mind (2 Cor. 10:5);
• Submit our hearts to Yeshua, cutting flesh, circumcision of the heart;
• Burying our old identity in the flood waters of the Jordan.
• Receive a new diet for conquerors. The manna we received in the wilderness is gone. In the Promised
Land we feed off of Holy Spirit, relying on Him and Him alone. Heb. 5:11-14
• Establish more unity as a family and End Time Army.
• Create a new wineskin so Yahweh can pour out His New Wine. “And no one puts new wine into old wineskin. For the wine would burst the wine skins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wine skins. Mark 2:22
• A time of humility. Humbling ourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift us up! James 4:10

HERE’S WHAT THE 21 DAYS WILL LOOKS LIKE:

We begin Saturday, 7/16 (17th of Tammuz) at Saturday Night Live/Shabbat thru 8/6 (9th of Av). We end on Saturday 8/6 at SNL with worship gathering and a shout & blowing the shofar! This gives us plenty of time to announce to our regular attendees what we are doing. You are encouraged to invite your Pastor, friends, family or anyone you feel needs to join this fast.

These are strategic dates as we begin in the month of Tammuz, where Israel sinned by making the golden calf which resulted in the breaking of the first set of tablets given to Moses by God. That very day, the 17th of Tammuz begins a three week period - ending on the 9th of Av - which commemorates
the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. We end with a very clear message saying, “Every high thing will come down and You will be enthroned here in this land!”

Worship leaders will still lead worship but will not use instruments or mics. Acapella only. No sound system or webcasting. Others in the prayer room are invited to pray briefly or sing, especially scriptures
but contemplative prayer is encouraged. “Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD; for He is raised up to of His Holy habitation.” Zechariah 2:13 KJV. A Prayer Leader will be assigned for each session. They will have an outline of what we’re doing in case visitors come in or attend to any other needs.

I will be posting our intentions on social media beginning next week so everyone in the community knows our plans. Everyone is invited to join us!

We want to see Your Glory Lord! We ask for You to command the blessing over this sacrifice and offering unto You & You alone!

There are GIANTS/Iniquitous thrones inhabiting the land:
1. Canaanites, those who traffic in materialism - represent the love of money.
2. Hittites, those broken in pieces - represent anger and violence
3. Hivites, life born of effort - they represent human effort and reliance upon self.
4. Perizzites, backwoods, rustic - they represent lack of vision or initiative.
5. Gergashites, condensed, marshy ground - represent ignorance, unwillingness to learn.
6. Amorites, those who live on high - represent pride and arrogance.
7. Jebusites, trampled down under foot - represent fear and anxiety that cripple spiritual growth.
