NVHOPCC started in 2019 when Gloria Campman, Executive Director of Nevada House of Prayer in Henderson NV, temporarily moved up north to establish a House of Prayer in Carson City. After legislation session was finished in June, she returned home.

 

A few months later, she was contacted by Karin Hockman, an intercessor in the Carson City area. Karin had a heart to pray for the Carson Valley/Lake Tahoe region and the State of Nevada and didn’t want to see the House of Prayer close down. She simply stated, “We cannot NOT pray!”

 

She formed a team of intercessors and met in Gardnerville for nearly two years until the original building Gloria leased in downtown Carson City became available again. This was miraculous! Karin jumped on the opportunity to be located right across from the Capital and moved the team to Carson City in February of 2021.
